He has represented clients in connection with the mergers of corporations, securities offerings, financings, corporate governance, and business restructurings.  Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated merger agreements, purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, strategic agreements, credit agreements, loan documents, and letters of credit.  Counseled private equity funds, venture capital funds, and their general partners and investment managers with the formation, negotiation, and regulation of funds and their portfolio companies.  Drafted partnership agreements, management agreements and investment agreements.

He is fluent in Chinese (Taisanese) and Burmese.

U Kyaw Myaing is a retired senior diplomat from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar now working as a consultant in the field of Information and Knowledge Management, especially for the UN and its agencies.

He worked for 20 years in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and six years with the United Nations Development Programme in the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific in New York.

U Kyaw Myaing holds a master’s degree in International Public Policy (MIPP) from SAIS – School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C., USA. He also has a Certificate in Information Management from New York University, USA.

He served as President of the Myanmar Association Inc. and the Myanmar Cultural Club (United Nations Staff Recreation Council) for seven years and now serves as an advisor to the EC.

U Kyaw Myaing is also President of MYA – Myanmar Youth Association, Inc. (New York), a non-profit, non-religious and non-political NGO working in the field of leadership development and humanitarian activities in the Tri-state area and at the grass-roots level in Myanmar . MYA has sent up to 60,000 books donated by the American people for the youth of Myanmar . These books have reached government ministries, university libraries and grass-roots level libraries. MYA’s slogan is “Helping Each Other”.

He is married and lives in New Jersey, USA.

Mr Edward K. Wong is a serial entrepreneur who had started multiple technology and Business/IT consulting companies and successfully exited with the most recent venture sold to a public company.

Currently, he is the president  and founder of Jadek Partners, an investment and transaction advisory services firm specializing in helping foreign companies do business  in Myanmar. It includes, real estate, information technology, education, retail and commodity trading.

He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and has completed security projects with various states level government and muncipal governement and law enforcement agencies in United States.

U Htin Myaing served as  Architect in Architect Department of Public Works Corporation (1966-1982).  He transferred to Housing Department  and retired as  Deputy Director, Housing Department in Ministry of Construction in 1989. He concurrently served as Deputy National Project Director of a UNDP funded “Rangoon City & Regional Development  Project” in Myanmar. He worked briefly in Thailand as Chief Architect for a Thai Design firm TESCO, and later immigrated to United States in 1994.

In New York, he served as an international  consultant in urban development field for UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA in  NY Head Office from 1995-1999. He also served as international UNDP consultant in review missions for HDI Projects in Myanmar. He served in East Timor with the UN Peacekeeping Mission, as OIC of  Engineering Service Section in UNTAET, UNMISET from 2000-2005.

As an architect working in the Government and private sectors, he has extensive experience in designing and supervising various projects including urban and housing development planning projects. He has experience in designing different building types such as office buildings, housing, museum, hotels and residential buildings  in Myanmar & Thailand.

U Htin Myaing holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Rangoon Institute of Technology 1966, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Housing development planning from the University of Newcastle-upon Tyne, United Kingdom 1978.

He is the President and co-founder of  the AungZay Institute Inc,  a non-political, non-profit  organization,  incorporated in New York  State in 2007 with a 501 C (3) tax exempt status, to preserve and promote the National heritage of Myanmar.  He lives in New Jersey, USA.
